I really can’t believe how quickly this term is going. The pupils have continued to settle into school really well.

One of our Year 11 groups have completed the overnight expedition as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award. Needless to say it was a little wet. However all pupils enjoyed themselves and completed the challenge.

Year 10 have settled well into their new pathways. Four new curriculum areas have been added. The Land Based group have been busy getting the growing areas ready in school.

Yew Class have thoroughly enjoyed their horse-riding and stable management this half term. For some pupils this is the first time they have had the opportunity to ride. Huge thanks go to the RDA volunteers who give up their time to support this.

We have over 20 new pupils starting this term across the whole school. What can be a very scary time, has gone really smoothly. Pupils have settled well and have been a credit to themselves. We are looking forward to all pupils old and new having a successful and enjoyable year ahead.

          Open Evening

We will be holding an open evening for current pupils and parents to have the opportunity to look round the school, talk to staff and look at work. This is a great opportunity to meet with all staff and have a look at what pupils are doing in lessons. I look forward to having the opportunity to meet with parents on this evening. Open Evening will take place on Tuesday 10th October 4-6pm.
