a further announcement from the government this week regarding the return of schools. The
announcement highlighted that the schools will not be returning until the 8th March at the

As you are aware we have been continuing throughout this half term to provide face
to face teaching through a rota system. This has worked extremely well whilst keeping numbers
at a safe level and enabling pupils to have some contact in school. We have also ensured that
pupils have been provided with a range of home learning both via the website and regular work
packs that we have sent home.

We will continue with the current rota that we have in place. Below is the rota for the first two
weeks after half term. Whichever group/s your child has accessed this half term, this will be the
same after the break.

With the new variant of COVID additional symptoms may present if a person has contracted
COVID. These are listed below.

Fever or chills
*Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
*Muscle or body aches
*New loss of taste or smell
*Sore throat
*Congestion or runny nose
*Nausea or vomiting

Should your child develop any of the above, can I please ask that they remain at home and get
a COVID test. Should anyone in your household test positive for COVID-19, then everyone must
isolate for a period of 10 days and the school should be informed.

Thank you to those parents/carers who have sent in some pictures/videos of what pupils have
been learning whilst at home. It has been fantastic to see the range of activities and work
pupils have done. This is now on the website under home learning. We would like to add to
these regularly, so please keep sending pictures and videos to

With very best wishes
Helen Ball
